French by origin and based in Brussels, I shaped my path between the workshops of ESADSE and skateboarding culture, a school of seeing that taught me to read urban space and its graphic codes. It was this immersion in the street that gave rise to my need to capture reality, before my training in design came to structure my practice of the image. Today, my work moves between two timeframes. On the one hand, I explore digital photography to translate nocturnal, colourful visions, strongly steeped in the aesthetics of science fiction such as that of Blade Runner or Ghost in the Shell. Through plays of reflection and light on water, I seek to freeze a futuristic, suspended atmosphere. On the other, film allows me to capture the spontaneous moment and the poetry of everyday life. In these scenes caught on the fly, I track down ordinary surrealism or fragments of life that seem to belong to another era. From the rigour of graphic design to the instinct of photography, I thus try to build a bridge between the construction of the image and the transmission of raw emotion.
