The idea
Every Bisou Rivage print is printed on a standard paper size — A4, A3 or A2 — with a white border all around the image. This is no accident: it lets you frame your print with standard frames and mounts, without going to a custom framer.
Below the image, the white border also carries the signature and, on a limited edition, the print number.

The mount
Our framed prints come with an acid-free laminated mount, a deep white, with a 45° bevelled cut. The bevel creates a fine line of light around the image and gives the print the depth of a gallery work. Acid-free board protects the paper over time: no yellowing where it touches, even after years.
If you frame it yourself, the mount openings listed above cover the edge of the paper and leave a thin white line of 7 to 10.5 mm around the image.
