You voted: the 5 WINNERS
Ten photographs, a month of voting, five winners. From 29 August to 28 September 2026, season 8 held the shore: 97 of you ranked your favourite images. Here are the ones that came out of it, and what they tell us.
01 The one you placed first
Lueur dorée, by Maiwenn Langlois, comes first. A silhouette walks along the water’s edge, in Brittany, in a stream of light falling from the evening. Nothing else: the glittering sea, a step, a coat. Maiwenn says she looks for "an emotion, a light or an atmosphere rather than a faithful representation of reality". Here the light does all the work, and you stop in front of it.

02 The other four
L’envolée, by SandyHeily. Barcelona, 2021, on film: pigeons rise all at once in front of a white facade, the movement blurs, the whole square beats its wings. An image that is still moving on paper.
Contraste, by Amandine Maurin. Annecy, this summer: a red parasol, deckchairs, the turquoise water of the lake and the mountain behind. Two colours answering each other, and it is the holidays.
La trace des Montagnes, by Nicolas Vaillant. Chamrousse, at dawn: the snow takes on the pink of the morning, clouds slip between the summits. Nicolas photographs to "add something sensitive to our awareness". You can see why.

Final Ride, by Max Winch. Abu Dhabi, 2021: a white 4x4 set on the crest of a dune, a pastel sky, sand rolling to the edge of the frame. Emptiness as a language: that is his way.
03 What changes for them
All five enter limited edition: ten copies per format, in A4, A3 and A2, signed and numbered by hand, delivered with their certificate, prepared with care in the Bisou Rivage studio. Once the tenth copy of a format is gone, there will be no other.
"Choosing an image is already looking at it for a long time."
That is what this vote teaches us every season. For a month, ten anonymous images wait for your eyes; you rank them, and five of them change status. Not because a gallery decided it: because you looked at them longer than the others.
